Stickers on CS2 Skins: What Adds Value and What Doesn't

When you apply a sticker to a skin, the sticker leaves your inventory and becomes part of that skin. Scraping wears it down until it disappears, and a scraped sticker does not return to you. Plan on keeping any sticker you apply.

Buyers often pay a portion of the sticker's own value on top of the skin's price, and the portion varies with how well the sticker suits the skin and where it sits.

Most stickers applied to most skins add close to nothing at resale. A recent, cheap sticker on a common skin tells a buyer about your taste, and few buyers pay extra for someone else's taste.

Scraped stickers add less than clean ones. Four matching stickers in good positions add more than a random mix.

Put on whatever you like, since you are the one playing with it. When you sell the skin later, price it as the skin alone unless the sticker falls into the valuable group above.

Check which stickers a listing carries and whether they have been scraped. A seller may price a skin high because of its stickers. Look up what the same skin sells for without stickers, then decide how much of the gap you want to pay.
